Biography
Kristi Morris is a Democratic representative for the Windsor-3 district in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2019. Born in Springfield, Vermont, he graduated from Springfield High School and Vermont Technical College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Semi-retired from Lovejoy Tool Co. after 44 years, including 28 as Manager of Engineering, he now works part-time. Notable roles include Chairperson of the Springfield Selectboard, Firefighter/EMT with the Springfield Fire Department since 1974 , Potentate of the Mt. Sinai Shriners in 2010, General Chairman of the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl football game, and Board of Governors member for Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, MA. Appointed by Governor Phil Scott in July 2019 to fill a vacancy following Rep. Robert Forguites' passing, he was elected to his first full term in 2020 and continues serving.
