Biography
Krista Knudsen
Krista Knudsen is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 5A in northern Minnesota. She serves the counties of Becker, Cass, Hubbard, and Wadena. Before her election to the state legislature, Knudsen served as Mayor of Lake Shore, Minnesota.
Knudsen is a business owner and entrepreneur. She and her husband, Kevin, have owned and operated Cowboy's Restaurant in Lake Shore for many years. She is married with four children.
Education
Knudsen holds two bachelor's degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato:
- B.S. in Alcohol and Drug Studies
- B.S. in Social Work
Political Experience
Knudsen was first elected to the Minnesota House in 2022 and is currently serving her second term. She holds the position of Assistant Republican Leader in the chamber.
