Biography
Krista M.Z. Griffith is a Democratic State Representative for Delaware's 12th District, which includes neighborhoods in Wilmington, North Wilmington, Greenville, Hockessin, and Centerville. Elected in 2018, she serves as Chair of the Judiciary Committee and is a member of several others, including Joint Finance, Appropriations, and Economic Development/Banking/Insurance & Commerce. A parent, attorney, and nonprofit CEO, she has focused on protecting vulnerable residents, advancing justice reforms, and addressing emerging technologies. Notable achievements include championing the creation of Delaware's first-in-the-nation Family Justice Center to support abuse victims, sponsoring the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, establishing the Delaware Artificial Intelligence Commission, and protecting state revenue from Delaware’s incorporation franchise during economic challenges.
