Representative Kirk White

Kirk White is a Democrat representing the Windsor-Addison district in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving Seat 27. He was born in Randolph, Vermont and was raised in Bethel on the old family farm where he continues to reside. White is a licensed acupuncturist, author, lecturer, and operates event site rentals. He has been married for over 25 years and is active in various community and civic organizations.

Education

White holds three degrees and certificates from Vermont institutions:

• Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion from the University of Vermont
• Master of Arts in Counseling from Johnson State College
• Certificate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Green Mountain Institute

Political Experience and Notable Achievements

White has maintained active involvement in his community through numerous leadership roles:

• Founded the Bethel Revitalization Initiative
• Co-founded Bethel University
• Served as president of the Bethel Business Association
• Served as president of the Bethel Area Rotary Club
• Currently serves on the Board of Civil Authority
• Holds membership on the House Committee on Commerce and Economic Development

Additionally, White is very active at state and local levels in Freemasonry and approaches community challenges through creative problem-solving and alternative perspectives for addressing issues facing small Vermont towns.
