Biography
Kirk Haston represents Tennessee House District 72, covering Chester, Decatur, Perry, Hardin, and Henderson Counties. Born March 10, 1979, he is married to Kasey with three children , works as a School Health Coordinator, and is a member of the Church of Christ. A former professional basketball player who played for Indiana University under coach Bob Knight, he authored Days of Knight: How the General Changed My Life in 2016, detailing his experiences, with Knight endorsing his 2018 campaign. First elected in November 2018 with 81% of the vote, he was inaugurated January 8, 2019, and has won re-elections unopposed in general elections since.
