Biography
Kirk A. Cullimore Jr. is a Republican state senator representing District 19 in the Utah State Senate, covering parts of Salt Lake County. He resides in Sandy, Utah, with his wife Heather and their six children. Elected in 2018, he began legislative service on January 1, 2019, initially representing District 9 before switching to District 19 in 2023. Notable leadership roles include Assistant Republican Whip and Republican Leader/Majority Leader . He serves on key committees such as the Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee, co-chairs the Infrastructure & General Government Appropriations Subcommittee, and is involved in the Business and Labor Standing Committee, Judiciary, Law Enforcement & Criminal Justice Standing Committee, and Tax Restructuring and Equalization Task Force. Previously, he was government affairs chair for the Utah Apartment Association.
Education and Political Experience
