Kip Capley is a Republican state representative for Tennessee's 71st House District. A seventh-generation Tennessean born and raised in Middle Tennessee, he is a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN, and holds affiliations with Maury County Friends of the NRA, Tennessee Firearms Association, and was a founding member of Turning Point USA at MTSU.

• Education: Bachelor's of Science in History and Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University; Master's of Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from Trevecca Nazarene University.
