Kim Banta is a Republican representative for Kentucky's 63rd House District, which includes parts of Boone and Kenton counties. Born on January 17, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she is a retired educator, devout Catholic, married with three children, and resides in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. She has served in the Kentucky House since 2019, winning unopposed in both the 2022 and 2024 elections. Notable positions include Chair of the House Budget Review Subcommittee on Primary and Secondary Education and Workforce Development, and memberships on committees such as Appropriations and Revenue, Judiciary, Families and Children, and Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations.
