Kevin Volk is a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 17 since January 13, 2025, alongside Rachel Keshel. He won his seat in the 2024 election and is running for reelection in 2026. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, at the base of the Catalina Mountains, Volk grew up in a politically mixed family with both Republicans and Democrats. He is a community leader, former teacher, and small business owner who co-founded a sustainable housing company in the Tucson area, focusing on affordable, prefabricated housing units. His legislative priorities include education, housing, and water conservation; he has championed affordable housing, early childhood education funding, and water conservation technologies. Volk serves on the House Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee and the Appropriations Committee, and successfully passed HB2887, signed into law by Governor Hobbs in May 2025. Notable achievements include the Business Champion for Early Education Award from United Way of Tucson in 2022, graduation from Greater Tucson Leadership, and selection as a Flinn-Brown Fellowship recipient for civic leadership.
