Kevin Vaughan is a Republican state representative serving Tennessee's 95th House District, based in Collierville in the Memphis suburbs, since 2017. Born on April 30, 1962, he is an engineer, real estate developer, and broker who is married with two children and a Baptist.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Memphis State University in 1984.
- Political Experience: Elected overwhelmingly to his first full term in 2018 against Democrat Sanjeev Memula; currently serves as Chairman of the Commerce Committee and holds positions on the Banking & Consumer Affairs Subcommittee, Business & Utilities Subcommittee, Calendar & Rules Committee, and Finance, Ways, and Means Committee.
