Kevin Horan

Kevin Horan was born on October 29, 1961, and is an American attorney and politician. He currently serves as a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives representing District 34, a position he has held since January 2012. Outside of his legislative work, Horan is an attorney at Horan & Horan and previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Milestone Hospice.

Political Experience

Horan was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives in 2011 and initially assumed office as a Democrat. He previously represented the 24th district from 2012 to 2016 before transitioning to his current District 34 seat. He registered as an independent in 2020 before later registering as a Republican.

Within the legislature, Horan serves as chair of the House Corrections Committee, reflecting a significant leadership role in criminal justice policy matters.
