Biography
Kevin S. Hensley is a Republican member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 9 since his first election in 2014. He previously served as a Legislative Assistant to the late U.S. Senator William V. Roth and runs his own small business as an Associate Broker with RE/MAX Premier Properties. Notable achievements include championing legislation for millions in state funding for school safety and security, earning the “I/DD Champion Award” in 2022 from Ability Network of Delaware for securing funding for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and his involvement as a Founding Member of MOT Charter School and past Appoquinimink School Board Member. He serves on House committees including Appropriations, Economic Development/Banking/Insurance & Commerce, Education, Health & Human Development, Housing, and Veterans Affairs, plus the ad-hoc House Small Business Caucus. Hensley is a father of two grown children, Julia and Ryan.
