Biography
Kevin Hardee
Kevin Hardee was born on April 9, 1965, and is a Republican representing District 105 in the South Carolina House of Representatives. He is an asbestos abatement contractor by profession and resides in Loris, South Carolina, where he lives on his family farm with his wife, Tina. Kevin and Tina have three daughters together.
Education
Hardee graduated from Horry Georgetown Technical College in 1986. He was born and raised in Horry County, South Carolina.
Political Experience
Hardee's political career began in 2001 when he was elected to the Horry County Council, where he served until 2008 representing District 10. During his tenure on County Council, he held several leadership positions, including Vice Chairman and Public Safety Chairman. He also served as a Board Member of the Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council.
In 2013, Hardee was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives for District 105, a position he continues to hold. He serves on the Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee and the Rules Committee, and holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Grand Strand Area Study. Additionally, Hardee is a Board Member for NBSC/Synovus–Loris Branch and was appointed to the Horry County Flood Committee.
