Kevin Ford
Kevin Ford is a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives representing District 54 since January 2017. He is a businessman who owns the Ford Insurance Agency and serves as vice chair of the House Insurance Committee.
Born on March 8, 1979, in Jackson, Mississippi, Kevin Ford is an American politician and businessman. He attended Warren Central High School in Vicksburg and has operated the Ford Insurance Agency since 2011. Elected in November 2016, he succeeded Alex Monsour and won re-election in 2023, with his current term ending January 4, 2028. Ford serves on committees including Banking and Financial Services, Public Health and Human Services, Transportation, Gaming, Congressional Redistricting, and Legislative Reapportionment. Notable legislation includes a bill revising the definition of restaurant under the Vicksburg Economic Recreation and Tourism tax, which became law.
Education and Political Experience
Ford graduated from Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, attended Hinds Community College, and studied at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
