Biography

Kevin W. Felsher is a Republican representative for District 117 in the Mississippi House of Representatives, serving Biloxi and the Gulf Coast region in Harrison County. A lifelong resident of Biloxi, he was elected on November 5, 2019, and has focused on education, economic development, tourism, public health, and mental health initiatives. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Public Health Committee and holds committee assignments including Corrections, Education, Gaming, Judiciary A, Marine Resources, Judiciary En Banc, Tourism, Public Property, and Ports, Harbors, and Airports. Additional roles include the P.E.E.R. Committee, MS Home Corporation Oversight Committee, Gulf Coast Economic Advisory Committee, and Military Interstate Children's Compact State Council.

Felsher has championed key legislation such as HB 530 and HB 633 . He earned an "A" rating from B.I.P.E.C. for business and jobs, and from the MS Association of Police Chiefs.

Felsher works in real estate as a Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker Alfonso Commercial Realty and is active in community boards like Biloxi Architectural and Historical Review Commission, Mississippi Gulf Coast Crime Stoppers, Harrison County Beautification Commission, Main Street Biloxi, Fisher House KAFB, and Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce.
