Kevin Crutchfield is a lifelong Republican politician from North Carolina with a conservative background rooted in family values. He served as a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for District 83 from 2023 to 2025 after winning election in 2022. Notable achievements include being elected Freshman Majority Leader by his colleagues, founding and co-chairing the House Small Business Caucus, introducing legislation to reduce government overreach, and securing over $185 million in appropriations for his district. He owns and manages several businesses, including Casco Signs, The Crutchfield Group , Castaway Properties, LLC, and Crutchfield Farms . A family man with three sons, daughters-in-law, and nine grandchildren raised in Cabarrus County, he is active in philanthropy, supporting Habitat for Humanity, STEM projects, and nonprofits. He has served on boards such as the Cabarrus County GOP, Rowan Cabarrus Community College Foundation, and Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Board. In December 2025, he announced a run for NC State Senate District 34.
