Kevin A. Avard is a Republican politician born on January 25, 1963, in Everett, Washington, representing New Hampshire Senate District 12 since 2022 . A small business owner and resident of Nashua, New Hampshire, he is married to Tracy with five children: Ashlee, Lindsey, Michael, Kevin, and Kiley. Avard is a Born Again Christian actively involved in community fundraising for music programs in Nashua Public Schools. Notable achievements include serving as Chair of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Vice Chair of Health and Human Services and Rules and Enrolled Bills Committees, and co-sponsoring House Bill 324 in 2025 to restrict obscene material in school libraries. His legislative priorities encompass addressing the drug crisis, infrastructure improvements, veteran support, mental health funding, tax restraint, and small business advocacy.
