Biography

Keri Lynn Ingle is a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 35, which includes Lee's Summit, Kansas City, and Raytown. A Licensed Master Social Worker in Missouri and Kansas, she previously worked in child welfare as an adoption specialist for the Jackson County Children's Division, and in schools, hospitals, and mental health facilities. Elected in 2018, she flipped the district blue for the first time, winning with 53% of the vote, and was re-elected in 2020 with 54.5%. Notable achievements include serving as Democratic Whip, leading bipartisan efforts on mental health access for children, foster care improvements, protections for vulnerable children in group homes, public education defense, first responder support, paid family leave, child care access, workforce development, opposition to "Right to Work" laws, and advocacy for reproductive freedom. She lives in Lee's Summit with her two children.
