Biography
Kent Weston is a Republican state senator representing District 15 in the North Dakota Senate, a position he has held since January 2025 after representing District 9 from 2022 to 2025. A farmer and owner of an agronomy business based in Sarles, North Dakota, he is married to Suzanne and has three children. Notable community involvement includes serving on the Rock Lake School Board, Border Central School Board, Cavalier County Economic Development Board, Cypress Township Board, and his local church board; coaching junior high basketball for over 15 years; leading youth groups on mission trips; and organizing fundraising for local food pantries. Active in Republican politics for over 20 years, he has served on the District 10 Republican Executive Committee and as a delegate to state conventions.
