Biography
Kent Roberson is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 25 in Prince George's County. Appointed on May 30, 2023, he serves on the Ways and Means Committee, including as Chair of the Local Revenues Subcommittee and member of the K-12 Education Subcommittee. Notable roles include Presidential Elector for Maryland in 2020, African-American Diversity Leadership Chair for the State of Maryland , and Chair of the Prince George's County Democratic Central Committee . Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is married with three children, and serves as an ordained Elder and Social Justice Minister at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church.
