Biography

Kendra Johnson is a Democratic representative for District 5 in the Delaware House of Representatives, serving since 2018. She currently holds positions including Chair of the Housing Committee and serves on committees such as Health & Human Development, Revenue & Finance, Capital Improvement, Agriculture, and Technology & Telecommunications. Notable achievements include sponsoring House Bill 224, which aligns definitions of sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability with federal law across the Delaware Code, and House Bill 255, which criminalizes deprivation of civil rights modeled after federal law.
