Kendal Sacchieri is a Republican state senator representing District 43 in the Oklahoma Senate since 2024. Born and raised on her family farm in southern Illinois, she moved to Oklahoma after high school to play volleyball at Randall University in Moore and later settled in Blanchard, her hometown.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Earned a B.S. in Spanish from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
• Political Experience: Taught and coached at Newcastle High School for four years; served as McClain County Assessor from 2018 to 2024; elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 2024 after defeating incumbent Jessica Garvin in the Republican primary and Democrat Sam Graefe in the general election , sworn in on November 13, 2024.

Notable achievements and positions: Sponsored Senate Bill 1488 for a moratorium on new data centers until 2029; led Senate Bill 20, the Secure Roads and Safe Trucking Act of 2025; advanced Senate Bill 97 to prohibit state agency contracts with lobbyists.
