Keith Kelley is a Republican State Senator representing District 12 in Alabama, which includes all of Calhoun County and eastern Talladega County. A self-described political outsider and small business advocate, he won a competitive Republican primary runoff and the general election with 73.6% of the vote, succeeding six-term Sen. Del Marsh; he was sworn in on November 30 after assuming office on November 9, with his term ending November 4, 2026. Notable achievements include his 26-year tenure as President of Harris-McKay Realty, leadership as President of the Alabama Association of Realtors and service on the National Association of Realtors board, volunteering a year post-2010 BP oil spill to aid state recovery through negotiations with the Obama administration, and advocacy for mental health awareness, having helped pass related bills into law.
