Biography
Kaylee Tuck is a Republican representative for Florida House District 83, which covers Glades, Hardee, Highlands, and Okeechobee counties. Elected in 2020 and reelected since, she serves as Deputy Majority Leader and works as a real estate and land use attorney.
Born on May 30, 1994, in Winter Haven, Florida, Kaylee Tuck is a fourth-generation resident of Highlands County. A Christian, she resides in Lake Placid and enjoys off-road racing and traveling. From a family dedicated to public service—her father Andy Tuck serves as Vice Chairman of the Florida State Board of Education, her mother Sandee is a longtime Highlands County teacher, her grandmother Arlene sits on the Highlands County Commission, and her grandfather Doug retired from the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office after 37 years—she graduated from Sebring High School. As a practicing attorney, she specializes in commercial and residential real estate, development, land use, and survey matters, with experience advising developers and broadband industries. Prior roles include internships at the Florida Department of Financial Services' Office of Fiscal Integrity, St. Petersburg Police Department, and Gulfcoast Legal Services, plus policy analysis on affordable housing at Florida State's Social Entrepreneurship Program.
