Biography
Karianne Lisonbee is a Republican representative for Utah House District 14 in Davis County, including Syracuse and Clearfield. Elected in November 2016, she assumed office on January 1, 2017, and is currently serving her third term. A homemaker by profession, she is married to Seth Lisonbee for 29 years, with six children and four grandchildren. Notable positions include Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and member of the House Committee on Education and Public Education Appropriations Committee; she was elected Assistant Majority Whip in November 2022. Key achievements encompass sponsoring legislation to protect personal information privacy, enhance criminal justice accountability, increase parental rights, boost education funding while lowering taxes, and safeguard victims. She previously served two terms on the Syracuse City Council and holds board positions with Open Doors, UHEA, and Wasatch International Adoptions.
