Karen Irene Mathiak is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 82 . A licensed chiropractor with over 30 years in practice in Griffin, Georgia, she is the first doctor of chiropractic to serve in the Georgia General Assembly. Sworn in on January 9, 2017, initially for District 73, she was redistricted to District 82 in 2024.
