Biography
Justin Lane Pence is a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing District 33, which includes the counties of Page, Rockingham , Shenandoah, and Warren . Born in 1977 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, he is a lifelong resident of Shenandoah County, raised on his family's farm where he learned the value of hard work through early mornings and late evenings in agriculture, along with involvement in 4-H and FFA. A self-employed farmer and businessman, he is married to Jamie Pence and has one child, Anderson. He is Methodist and emphasizes conservative values, fiscal discipline, cutting government waste, and reducing regulations to support agriculture and business in the Shenandoah Valley. Notable positions include Board Member of the Shenandoah Valley Agriculture Foundation and State Director of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, representing Page, Frederick, and Warren counties. He assumed office on January 14, 2026.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Central High School in Shenandoah County in 1995; returned to the Shenandoah Valley after college.
- Political Experience: Elected as Delegate for Virginia's 33rd House District in 2026, serving in the Republican party; currently in session with an office in the General Assembly Building, Room 701, Richmond.
