Justin Lafferty

Justin Augustus Lafferty is a Republican state representative from District 89 in Tennessee, representing Knoxville. Born on May 13, 1971, he has been a lifelong resident of Knoxville for over 36 years. He is a Methodist and has built his career around public service and business entrepreneurship. Lafferty has expressed a commitment to preserving liberty and freedom, drawing inspiration from the service of military personnel.

Education

Lafferty graduated from Farragut High School before attending Pellissippi State Community College. He earned a Political Science degree with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Lafferty serves as Chairman of the Government Operations Committee in the Tennessee House of Representatives. His committee assignments include:
