Biography
Justin C. Fleming is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 105th District in Dauphin County since his election in November 2022. He defeated Republican incumbent Therese Kenley and serves as Co-Chair of the Pennsylvania Future Caucus. Fleming is committed to improving education, expanding mental health care, supporting children, advancing social and economic justice, reducing income inequality, and making health care more affordable. Notable achievements include his selection for the Future Caucus 2025-2026 Innovation Fellowship in the Prenatal-to-Three cohort, focusing on healthcare policies.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Susquehanna Township High School in 1998 and Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
- Professional Experience: Spent nearly 18 years in state government and advocacy, serving as a press officer for the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, Department of Labor and Industry, and Department of Agriculture. Later worked in government relations for the National Association of Social Workers, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children.
- Political Experience: Elected to the Susquehanna Township Board of Commissioners for the 8th Ward in 2013 . Elected to the Pennsylvania House in 2022.
