Biography
Justin Busch is a Republican State Senator representing District 16 in Indiana, which includes Whitley County and a portion of Allen County. Elected to the Indiana Senate in 2018, he serves as Assistant Caucus Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services. He also sits on the Senate Committees on Appropriations and Public Policy. Notable achievements include prior service as Vice President of Fort Wayne Garmong Construction, Immediate Past President of the Indiana University Alumni Association Northeast Indiana Chapter, Brightpoint Board Member, and Lifetime Member of the NRA. On the Health Committee, he has supported legislation for healthcare transparency, affordability, and frontline professionals.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Attended Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, earning a B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from Purdue University and a B.A. in History from Indiana University; graduated from Carroll High School.
- Political Experience: Worked for the George W. Bush administration; appointed to the Indiana State Real Estate Commission by former Gov. Mike Pence; served as an at-large member of the Allen County Council; elected to Indiana State Senate in 2018.
