Biography
Julio Marenco is a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 33rd Legislative District. A lifelong Hudson County resident, United States Navy veteran, attorney, educator, and public servant, he assumed office on January 9, 2024. Raised in Union City, New Jersey, Marenco served on nuclear submarines in the Navy from 1990 to 1994, then used the GI Bill for higher education. He has held roles as Commissioner of Revenue and Finance for North Bergen Township, Associate Board Member of the New Jersey State Parole Board, and president of the North Bergen Board of Education. Notable achievements include bringing fiscal discipline through local government experience and expanding services for constituents.

- Education: Utilized GI Bill post-Navy service; served as a professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Teaneck campus.
