Biography
Julie McIntosh is a Republican Oklahoma State Senator representing District 3. She is a Christian, wife to fellow family physician Brad McIntosh, mother of four, grandmother, retired family physician, and small business owner. The family lives on a farm in Wagoner County, raising cattle, chickens, and bees. McIntosh retired from medicine in January 2023 after serving as Medical Director for the Muskogee County Health Department for most of the last 22 years and later for the Okmulgee County Health Department. She has homeschooled her children for over 20 years, operated homeschool co-ops, taught at the university level, church, and Indian Capital Technology Center, and volunteered extensively in her church, community, and internationally across Africa, Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East. Previously, she served on the Wagoner County Board of Adjustment. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and hunting. She is endorsed by Governor Kevin Stitt as a proven conservative.
