Julie McGuire is a Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 93 . She assumed office on November 22, 2022, after defeating incumbent John Jacob in the Republican primary and winning the general election. McGuire supports parental rights, rights of the unborn, educational choice, the Second Amendment, and law enforcement. She is married to Mark McGuire, with whom she has four children: Sophia, Grace, Brady, and Mark; they are long-time members of St. Roch Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Notable achievements include her selection as the Class of 2024-2025 alumna of the Lugar Series and being endorsed by Mike Braun, former President Donald Trump, and others as his preferred lieutenant gubernatorial running mate in 2024, though she narrowly lost the convention vote to Micah Beckwith.
