Judson Sapp is a Republican representing Florida House District 20, which includes parts of Clay, Marion, Putnam, and St. Johns counties. Born on May 18, 1977, in Florida and raised in Green Cove Springs, he serves as CEO of W.J. Sapp and Son, Inc., a railroad construction, maintenance, and improvement company, a position he has held for 14 years. He is married to Kelly Sapp and has two children, Willard and Ryder. Elected in 2024 as a political newcomer after the seat was vacated by incumbent Bobby Payne , Sapp won in a landslide with over 75% of the vote against Democrat Tony Connolly. His campaign emphasized economic growth, conservative policies, business development, and protection of conservative values. He previously ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primary for U.S. House Florida District 3 in 2018 and 2020. His terms extend until 2032.
