Josian Santiago Rivera, born José Antonio Santiago Rivera on August 27, 1957, in Comerío, Puerto Rico, is a member of the Partido Popular Democrático *. He represents Puerto Rico *at-large in the Senate, elected in the 2024 Puerto Rico Senate election where he received 76,961 votes for one of the at-large seats.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from the public school system, including the Residential Center for Educational Opportunities of Mayagüez . Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, in 1979.

• Political Experience: Began public service in 1979 as a municipal official in Comerío . Served as Special Assistant to Mayor José E. Aponte De La Torre . Elected Mayor of Comerío for six consecutive terms . President of the Mayors Association of Puerto Rico . President of the Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities, and Local Associations , representing over 12,000 municipalities in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean .
