Joshua "Josh" Wheeler is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives representing District 35B. First elected in 2022, he succeeded Rod Furniss and won re-election in 2024. A businessman born and raised in Ammon, Idaho, Wheeler emphasizes career and technical education, rural development, and expanding health care access in underserved areas. He previously served on the Ammon City Council starting in 2019. Wheeler met his wife, Laramie Linning, in high school, served a two-year mission in Brazil, and is motivated by community involvement following personal loss.
