Josh Tanner is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives representing District 14B . An Idaho native raised in the Treasure Valley, he is an evangelical Christian, avid hunter and fisher, and resides in Eagle with his wife Dominique and three children. He operates multiple small businesses and has served as an elected commissioner and chairman of the Eagle Fire Protection District since 2018. Elected in November 2022, he assumed office on December 1, 2022, and is currently in his second term. Notable positions include House Assistant Majority Leader , co-chair of the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee , and service on the Appropriations , Resources & Conservation, Ways & Means committees, DOGE Task Force, and Medicaid Review Panel.
