Biography
Josh Siegel is a Democratic politician who formerly represented Pennsylvania's 22nd House District, encompassing parts of Allentown and Salisbury Township in Lehigh County. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he moved to Allentown in 2016 and has been active in public service since his early 20s. Elected Lehigh County Executive in November 2025 at age 31—the youngest in Pennsylvania history—he resigned from the state House in December 2025 and took office on January 5, 2026.
Notable achievements include passing paid family leave for Allentown city employees, ending garage privatization, chairing the city's budget and finance committee, and advocating for minimum wage increases, affordable housing, workers' rights, and economic development in the state House. He served on key House committees such as Appropriations, Housing and Community Development, Labor & Industry, Transportation, and State Government.
