Biography
Josh Seckinger is a Democratic representative for Montana House District 62, elected in 2024 after defeating Republican Owen Lang with 51.06% of the vote. Born October 9, 1989, in Florida, he was raised in Wisconsin, moved to Montana at age 23, and has lived in the Gallatin Valley for 15 years. He works as a fly-fishing guide in the Bozeman area and takes seasonal jobs in winter. Previously, he ran for U.S. Senate in Montana in 2020 but dropped out before the Democratic primary, endorsing Steve Bullock. Notable positions include membership on the House Committee on Environmental Quality Council.
