Biography
Josh Schriver is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 66th District since 2023. The district includes parts of Macomb County and Oakland County . Born on March 14, 1992, in Warren, Michigan, he is married, Christian, and resides in Oxford. Previously a kindergarten teacher, he designed programs for children with autism and their families. Notable positions include service on the House Oversight, Communications and Technology, and Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation committees; he is Vice Chair of the Oversight Subcommittee on Weaponization of State Government and serves on the Subcommittee on Homeland Security and Foreign Influence. He was reelected on November 5, 2024, and sworn in on January 2, 2025.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren; earned a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Humanities from Michigan State University in 2015; obtained a Master of Science in Psychology in 2017.
- Political Experience: First elected to the Michigan House in November 2022, representing District 66; serving his second term as of 2025. Known as one of Michigan's most conservative representatives, endorsed by groups like Right to Life of Michigan and Michigan Trump Republicans.
