Biography
Josh Holstein is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 32 . Born on November 2, 2001, in Ashford, West Virginia, he is the son of generations of coal miners and a devoted Christian. Elected in November 2020 after defeating Democratic incumbent Rodney Miller, he assumed office on December 1, 2020, becoming the youngest elected official in Boone County history and only the second Republican to represent the county in over eight decades. He was re-elected in 2022 and 2024, and currently serves his third term. Notable achievements include serving as Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party , making him the youngest state party chair in U.S. history and the youngest elected member of the Republican National Committee. He voted for HB302 in 2022, banning abortion with limited exceptions, and was endorsed by West Virginians for Life. He also co-chairs the West Virginia Future Caucus.
