Biography

Senator Joshua Bryant is a Republican representing District 32 in the Arkansas Senate, covering the eastern third of Benton County and the northeast part of Washington County.

Joshua P. Bryant is an Arkansas native raised in Benton County. He graduated from BCCS in Rogers in 1996, joined the United States Marine Corps the following year, and served five years, reaching the rank of Sergeant. After his military service, he worked for 12 years at the Federal Aviation Administration , focusing on air travel safety and efficiency. In 2014, he co-founded a construction company that became one of Northwest Arkansas's most successful firms. Bryant is married to Jill Bryant, with whom he has a son and daughter; the family attends Engaged Ministries Church in Lowell. Prior to the Senate, he served as a justice of the peace in Benton County and succeeded his wife in the Arkansas House of Representatives for District 96 . Elected to the Senate in 2022 after winning the Republican primary, he was sworn in on January 9, 2023.
