Josh Boschee is a Democratic-NPL Party member representing District 44 in the North Dakota Senate, serving downtown and north Fargo. Elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 2012, he served there until 2024 before winning election to the Senate in 2024 . He is the first openly gay candidate elected to the North Dakota state legislature and currently serves as Senate Democratic-NPL Assistant Minority Leader. Notable roles include House Democratic-NPL Leader for three sessions and a 2018 run for North Dakota Secretary of State. As a real estate broker with Real Broker, LLC, he focuses on state budget issues, education, workforce development, and bipartisan policy partnerships.
