Jorge Luis Navarro Suárez is a Puerto Rican politician affiliated with the Partido Nuevo Progresista *. He serves as a member of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives representing *District 5 , a position he has held since January 2, 2005, after being elected in 2004 and reelected in 2008, 2012, 2016, and most recently for the 2025-2028 term. He is the second of five children born to politician Georgie Navarro Alicea and Nitza Suárez, and grew up in Precinct 5 of San Juan. Navarro is known for his commitment to public service, business development, and employment initiatives; he currently serves as President of the House Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Commerce. Outside politics, he is a father, sports enthusiast, and nature lover who worked in the private sector managing supermarkets and supporting small businesses.
