Biography
Jordan Rasmusson is a Republican state senator representing Minnesota Senate District 9, which includes communities in Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Traverse, and Wilkin counties. He serves as Assistant Republican Caucus Leader . Elected to the Senate in 2022 for his first term , he previously served in the Minnesota House from 2021-2022 . A sixth-generation resident of Otter Tail County, he grew up in Fergus Falls, is married to Emma, and is an active member of Grace Lutheran Church while serving on the boards of the Fergus Falls YMCA and Otter Tail County Historical Society. Notable positions include advocating for small businesses, controlling government spending and taxes, Greater Minnesota values, fair education funding, school choice, protection for life, and Second Amendment rights.

- Education: Graduated from Fergus Falls High School; earned a B.A. in Government from Harvard College in 2015.
- Professional Background: Worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and as a private equity investor at Bain Capital; currently a consultant in Fergus Falls.
