Biography
Jonathan Jacobson is a Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 148, which includes portions of Stamford such as Glenbrook and East Side. He assumed office on January 8, 2025, after winning the general election on November 5, 2024. Raised in Stamford, Jacobson is a civil litigator focusing on individuals and small businesses in Fairfield County, and he is Jewish. He resides in Stamford with his wife Lauren, son Ezra, and dog Chewbacca, and enjoys hiking. Notable achievements include advocating for environmental initiatives like Stamford’s plastic bag, straw, and Styrofoam bans; supporting automated speed cameras near schools; regulating single-use bags; and promoting affordable housing, transparency, and accountability.
Education and Political Experience
