Biography

Jon Steven Cardin is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 11B in Baltimore County. He has served since 2019, following prior terms from 2003 to 2015, and is the nephew of U.S. Senator Ben Cardin. Notable achievements include sponsoring Maryland's first criminalization of revenge porn, authoring the nation's first anti-cyberbullying law, advocating for voting rights for ex-felons, and leading on election law reform as chair of the Election Law Subcommittee and the National Conference of State Legislatures' Election Law Committee .
