Representative Johnny "Johnny O" Olszewski Jr. is a lifelong Marylander dedicated to public service. Born and raised in Baltimore County, he began his political career as a student member of the Baltimore County Board of Education during his senior year at Sparrows Point High School. After teaching civics and special education in Baltimore County Public Schools for seven years, Olszewski was appointed to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2006, where he served two terms. In 2018, he was elected as Baltimore County Executive, becoming the youngest person to hold that position. In 2024, Olszewski was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Maryland's 2nd Congressional District.
