Biography
John Vander Woude is a Republican representative for Idaho House District 22A, serving since 2010 after an initial term from 2006 to 2008. A retired dairy farmer and small business owner from Nampa, Idaho, with over 40 years in the industry, he resides in Meridian, is a U.S. Army veteran, and has been married to Judy for over 47 years with three children and 12 grandchildren. Notable achievements include serving as House majority caucus leader since 2013, chairing the Environment, Energy, & Technology Committee, and memberships on the Health & Welfare and Resources & Conservation Committees. He contributed 16 years to the Nampa Christian School Board and boards of United Dairymen of Idaho, Milk Producers of Idaho, and Idaho Dairy Herd Improvement Association.
