Biography
John Simmons is a Republican who served as the Missouri State Representative for District 109 from January 2019 to 2022. A chiropractor born in Avon, Connecticut, he now resides in Krakow, Missouri, and operates the Simmons Wellness Center in Washington. Notable achievements include sponsoring a historic pro-life bill, an election integrity bill recognized as "best in nation" by the Foundation for Government Accountability and Trump’s America First Policy Institute, and supporting Missouri's largest tax cut; he advocates for eliminating property taxes for seniors and veterans, pro-life and pro-Second Amendment positions, parental rights in education, and opposition to CRT and DEI curricula, with endorsements from the Fraternal Order of Police, MO Right to Life, and an A+ NRA rating.
